A survey on how to improve the distribution of halal food conducted in Indonesia in March 2023 found approximately 33 percent of respondents expressed the need for support to be provided to home industries, enabling them to obtain the halal logo easily and at no cost. Additionally, around 29 percent of respondents emphasized the importance of the government mandating brands to acquire the halal logo before launching products targeted at Muslim consumers.
